Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is set in the plantation home in the Mississippi Delta of Big Daddy Pollitt. The play examines the relationships among members of Big Daddy's family, primarily between his son Brick and Maggie the "Cat." Setting this production in the round forces the characters and audience to confront their problems and sort them out as a storm approaches on the plantation. The lighting had a very realistic and tangible sticky atmosphere to support the rollercoaster of emotions that escalated between Big Daddy, Brick and Maggie.
