This dance was looking to better the world, and to do so we needed to capture the energy and frustrations and focus to the hope occurring on stage. The lighting world of this piece was relatable to a war zone. It was desolate and an open space with a creation of a world off stage that everyone could look too. The world off stage held hope and supported the musical lyric “I’ll see you on the other side.. It’s brighter on the other side.”
