Based on the novel Margaret the First by Danielle Dutton, eight transforming actors play 100’s of characters and all the palaces, animals and fantasy characters in a devised theater production about the 1650’s celebrity Duchess Margaret Cavendish, 'Mad Madge'.

As this show was built on movement of the actors, lighting worked to enhance the form as well as to draw focus to the fast paced action. To support Margaret and the multiple realities that surrounded her, I worked closely with the Projection Designer to develop a fantastical and frenzied world of Margaret's head space full of color, moving texture and vitality.
